Hoolequin: (who.luh.k’win) Noun. Part harlequin and part hooligan. A Hoolequin is one who smiles and tells jokes in the midst of combat, a tough guy with a funny side. A Hoolequin can grin and bear it, and possesses the motivation and discipline to see a task to its conclusion. The Hoolequin, or just The Quin [no s], are a small group of players of a game called Guild Wars.
The Call of the Hoolequin: An invitation only organization of capable individuals with focused talents on: market trading, resource management, and extensive research and field work. The Quin are highly attentive to current trends and have a proven track record of successful analysis and implementation of context sensitive plans based on boots-on-the-ground feedback in real time.
The Quin can provide effective command and control solutions for all types of ventures, regardless of scale or location, as well as numerous on-demand mercantile capabilities. The Quin also has vast on-site training facilities to ensure proper development from entry level through Guild Leader. In fact, our most senior officers are our best and most frequent instructors and remain active in the field.
In the Guild, we believe everyone is entitled to earn a level of prestige and we take care of our own first and foremost. The Call of the Hoolequin will not be heeded by everyone and not all who answer the call will endure. To those who believe in their ability to join and be successful, we invite you to Quin or Quit.
